Archive search and journal checker

Archive filtering takes place in your browser. Its search-event measurement records the length of a search and the number of matching entries, rather than the search text itself.

The checker’s Save button stores journal details and your evidence notes in this browser’s local storage. Reset clears that saved checker record. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access saved information. Avoid entering confidential manuscripts or personal information into evidence notes.

When you request automatic checks, the journal title or ISSN needed for the request is sent directly from your browser to NCBI/NLM and Crossref. Their own privacy terms apply. Manual links open external websites. Basic tool events, such as starting a check or following a source link, may be measured through Google Analytics.
