What to include in a correction or review request
- The exact BeallsLists.com page URL.
- The exact sentence, status or entry you believe should change.
- The journal/publisher's current official website.
- ISSN, publisher identity and ownership information where relevant.
- Official indexing or metric records if the dispute concerns indexing or metrics.
- Dated policy pages for APCs, peer review, copyright, licensing or withdrawal terms.
- Your name, role and relationship to the journal/publisher if you are responding on its behalf.
Stable official URLs are preferable to screenshots alone. Screenshots are useful when a page may change, so include the date captured.
Historical archive entries and current reviews are handled differently
A request to correct a present-day factual statement is different from a request to erase a historical archive entry. Historical records may be preserved with added context when ownership, practices or status later change. Current reviews should be updated when verifiable evidence changes.
See the listing policy and editorial methodology before submitting a complex review request.
