EPRA Journals review: indexing, metrics and publication fees
EPRA appears in the historical archive. Before deciding where to submit, check the exact journal, the publisher’s announced website change, the metric being advertised and the terms that apply to your paper.

Is EPRA on Beall’s List?
The publisher archive on this site contains an entry for EPRA Journals linking to eprajournals.com. It also contains a separate EPRA Wisdom entry. Those are historical records; they do not establish the present practices of every journal with “EPRA” in its name.
The eprajournals.com homepage announces that EPRA Journals became EPRA Publishing effective June 4, 2026, and directs visitors to eprapublishing.org. That provides a published connection between these two websites. It is not an independent audit of ownership or a reason to assume every similarly named site belongs to the same organization. Publisher’s announcement and website links.
If an invitation sends you elsewhere, compare its domain with the publisher’s published links before uploading a manuscript or paying. Keep the exact journal title and ISSN with your notes.
Two journal identities checked independently
The ISSN Portal provides confirmed records for the following titles. These checks establish the title–identifier pairing shown in that registry, not peer-review quality or inclusion in a citation index.
| Journal | Online ISSN | Independent record |
|---|---|---|
| EPRA International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IJMR) | 2455-3662 | ISSN Portal: IJMR |
| EPRA International Journal of Research & Development (IJRD) | 2455-7838 | ISSN Portal: IJRD |
Use the ISSN rather than the abbreviation alone. An IJMR search can lead to different journals, and a result for one title cannot verify another. The records reviewed here do not establish the indexing status of the wider EPRA portfolio.
What does EPRA’s advertised impact factor mean?
EPRA’s metrics page labels the 2025 figures for IJMR and IJRD as SJIF: 8.691 and 8.688 respectively. The IJMR entry links to SJIFactor.com. These numbers should be described with their provider and year, rather than reported simply as “the impact factor.” EPRA’s metric labels.
The linked SJIFactor record shows IJMR’s 2025 value of 8.691 and a 2026 value of 8.753. A number copied without its year can therefore mislead even when it comes from the same provider. SJIFactor’s IJMR record.
An SJIF listing does not establish a Clarivate Journal Impact Factor or Scopus coverage. If your university requires a particular metric or index, obtain the corresponding provider’s record for this exact ISSN. Our impact-factor verification guide explains what to record.
Is EPRA indexed in Scopus, Web of Science or DOAJ?
This review does not establish a current yes-or-no answer for either sampled journal in those databases. Search the exact ISSN in the relevant official service and record the title, collection and coverage dates. A publisher’s badge, a DOI, an ISSN or search-engine visibility cannot substitute for the record you need.
Use the Scopus guide, Web of Science guide and DOAJ search. Leave a field unresolved when you cannot complete the check.
Fees and review timelines: read the specific terms
Publication charges
The fee page reviewed lists IJMR/IJRD international-author charges of USD 30 for up to three authors, or USD 40 with a DOI. It lists other amounts for additional authors and other titles, and the table carries an effective date of October 29, 2019. Treat these as the published rows observed during this review, not a current quotation for your manuscript. EPRA’s fee table.
Ask for the final amount, currency, DOI option and applicable cancellation terms in writing. For a US-based author, check the international-author row and any additional conditions; do not choose a fee solely from the page’s general low-cost headline.
Peer review and production
The legacy homepage advertises a review turnaround of 24–48 hours. The current review-process page describes a minimum of two independent reviews and says accepted papers requiring no changes are published within two working days after fee and form completion. These are publisher statements about different stages, not measured turnaround results. Legacy homepage; current review policy.
A rapid timetable does not by itself prove that review is absent. Ask how reviewers are selected, what reports you will receive and how revisions are handled. This profile did not inspect confidential review reports or test the process by submitting a manuscript.
What to do before submitting
- Confirm identity. Match the invitation, journal website and ISSN record. Resolve a different domain or title before proceeding.
- Check your institution’s requirement. If it specifies a database or metric, verify that requirement directly. Ask your librarian or research office when the rule is unclear.
- Evaluate relevant papers. Read recent work in your field, examine editorial information and check whether named editors acknowledge their roles through independent professional sources.
- Keep the terms. Save the dated fee information, review policy and written clarifications that apply to your submission.
- Record unresolved evidence. Use the journal checker and preservation guide to keep separate questions separate.
Review limits: this profile checks published statements and two ISSN records. It does not verify current citation-index coverage, editorial consent, actual review quality, archival completeness or every journal in the portfolio. Historical inclusion and public policies alone do not justify a publisher-wide safety score.
Common questions
Are EPRA Journals and EPRA Publishing connected?
The eprajournals.com website announces the name change and links to eprapublishing.org. Check those published links when verifying an invitation; a similar name by itself is insufficient.
Does an EPRA ISSN prove the journal is legitimate?
The two ISSN records above identify the titles. They do not answer whether a journal meets your institution’s requirements or provides the review process you expect.
Can I use an SJIF value as a Clarivate impact factor?
The EPRA figures discussed here are explicitly labelled SJIF. They do not establish a Clarivate Journal Impact Factor. Verify any separate claim with the relevant provider.
